Cabinet Refinishing

Cabinet refinishing gives kitchen and bathroom cabinets and vanities a fresh, durable finish without the cost of replacing them.

It is one of our main services alongside interior and exterior painting, and the process is the same as every Xpectrum project: we walk through the cabinets with you, explain how we will prepare the surfaces and protect the surrounding areas, and review the recommended coating and what to expect from the finish.

For cabinet work we use professional cabinet coating systems. Which product we recommend depends on the surface, the finish you want, and your budget.

Common questions

What products do you use on cabinets?

For cabinets, the brochure examples are Renner Professional Cabinet Coating Systems. It depends on the surface, the finish you want, and your budget. We review the recommended products with you, explain why they suit your project, and what to expect from the finish.

Should I refinish my cabinets or replace them?

If the cabinet boxes are solid and the layout works for you, refinishing usually makes sense. It keeps good cabinets and changes the finish, with far less demolition and disruption than replacement. If the boxes are failing or the layout is the real problem, a new finish cannot fix that. An in-person consultation settles it quickly.

Are you insured?
